Loudoun Cares Awarded Loudoun Chamber Foundation Grant

LEESBURG, Virginia (February 11, 2026)— Loudoun Cares was recently selected as one of 16 local nonprofits that are working to support the workforce, economic growth, and quality of life in Loudoun County. The  Loudoun Chamber Foundation (a fund sponsored by the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce within the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties) has sponsored this grant program since 2015, issuing over $404,000 in grants to over 92 nonprofit organizations.

Through partnerships with the Loudoun County Department of Housing and Community Development, local faith networks, and nonprofits, Loudoun Cares coordinate timely financial assistance and referrals, maintaining a comprehensive database that links more than 500 human service programs. Their Online Volunteer Center supports this ecosystem by connecting hundreds of volunteers to the nonprofits serving our most vulnerable residents.

By helping people stay in their homes and access essential resources, Loudoun Cares supports the strengthening of community health, stability, and the overall quality of life for residents in Loudoun. The $4,500 grant provided by the Foundation to Loudoun Cares will be used for operating expenses, enabling us to focus on their mission of “connecting those who serve with those in need to build a stronger community.”
