Loudoun County 2022 Outstanding Volunteer Awards
The Loudoun Cares Outstanding Volunteer Awards is chance to celebrate the good work of our volunteers here in Loudoun County. We hope that you will take the time to nominate those individuals, teams, corporate/business partners, and civic organizations that have given their time to make our community an amazing place to live, work, and play!
Those eligible for nominations include individuals or teams whose volunteer services have benefited Loudoun County during 2021. You may submit a nomination for an individual person or a team of volunteers to be honored. Although honoree(s) do not need to be present to win, we ask that a representative be present.
Adult Categories (19 to 60):
-Outstanding Adult Public Safety Volunteer
-Outstanding Adult Volunteer
-Outstanding Adult Volunteer Team
Senior Categories (Over 60):
-Outstanding Senior Public Safety Volunteer
-Outstanding Senior Volunteer
-Outstanding Senior Volunteer Team
Youth Categories (18 & under):
-Outstanding Youth Public Safety Volunteer
-Outstanding Youth Volunteer
-Outstanding Youth Volunteer Team
Specialty Categories (no age restriction):
-Outstanding Community or Civic Organization
–Outstanding Corporate Volunteer Team
-Outstanding Volunteer Team
-Outstanding Volunteer Project
-Outstanding Project Leader
-Outstanding Veteran Volunteer
-Outstanding Volunteer Nonprofit Board
At the end of this nomination, you will be able to indicate if you would like to submit the individual nomination to be considered for the following:
Judy Hines Service of a Lifetime Award
This award recognizes a volunteer that has given 10 or more years to community service here in Loudoun County. You will have a chance to tell us how long they have been volunteering in Loudoun County, the nonprofits they have served if more than one, and their overall impact on the community.
(NOTE: Only Individual nominations will be considered for the Lifetime award.)
This award recognizes volunteer service that had a profound impact on an organization’s/community’s COVID-19 efforts. You will have a chance to tell us whether this service was a new initiative/organization or if it was an expansion to already existing services/organization as a result of the crisis.
(NOTE: Either individuals or teams may be nominated for this award
Nominations must include a completed application.
Nominations must include a profile picture of the individual or team at the time of submission.
- An individual or team may only be nominated for one applicable category. However, a team may be nominated for a team award while a member of that same team may be nominated for an individual award.
- In order to award honorees, a category must receive at least two completed applications.
- Loudoun Cares reserves the right to combine and remove categories as they see fit
