We are excited to welcome Jen Pool to the Loudoun Cares staff. As a strategic hire to help build and lead our internal case management program, Jen brings more than 20 years of experience serving communities through collaborative, mission-driven leadership. She is deeply committed to creating safer, more supportive communities where every person has the opportunity to thrive.

Prior to joining Loudoun Cares, Jen served as the Executive Director of Vine & Fig Tree, where she helped build and lead community-based programs supporting foster youth and young adults transitioning to independence. She also serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and Court Appointed Guardian for foster youth, and consults with anti-human trafficking organizations to strengthen survivor-centered, trauma-informed programs.

Jen’s arrival coincides with an exciting step forward for Loudoun Cares. We were recently awarded a $10,000 grant from the Loudoun Impact Fund to help launch our new case management program. The Loudoun Impact Fund is a giving circle of individuals and businesses dedicated to local grantmaking, jointly administered by the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia and the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties. Its grants support programs that empower youth, older adults, and people with disabilities to thrive and contribute to the Loudoun County community.

Together, Jen’s leadership and this investment will allow Loudoun Cares to deepen the support we provide to our neighbors and expand our ability to connect individuals and families to the resources they need to succeed.
