Dee Fogleman is a lifelong Northern Virginia resident and a passionate advocate for community, family, and giving back. He is currently the Director of Business Development with STAR Moving Solutions, where he focuses on building relationships throughout the community and helping individuals, families, real estate professionals, and businesses navigate the moving process with care and confidence. Since entering the moving industry in 2001, Dee has built his career around relationships, service, and a simple philosophy: treat people the way you would want your own family treated.
Dee’s connection to Northern Virginia runs deep. He attended Loudoun Country Day School before attending Herndon Middle School and Herndon High School. Having grown up in the area, he has watched the community evolve over the years and feels incredibly fortunate to now have the opportunity to give back to the place he has always called home.
While Dee takes great pride in his professional accomplishments, his greatest accomplishment is his family. He and his wife are raising 3 sons; one of his greatest passions is doing everything possible to raise three kind, compassionate, respectful young gentlemen in a world that can sometimes feel difficult, competitive, and cutthroat. He wants his boys to understand the importance of helping others, standing up for what is right, working hard, and always remembering that how you treat people matters.
That same philosophy extends into Dee’s involvement in the community. A longtime youth sports coach and proud supporter of numerous nonprofits and community organizations over the years, Dee believes that giving back isn’t simply something we should do when we have the time—it is something we should make time for. Whether he is coaching young athletes, supporting local charities, volunteering at community events, or connecting people through his professional network, Dee is happiest when he is helping others.
For Dee, community is personal. He believes that strong communities are built when people are willing to show up for one another, create meaningful relationships, and use whatever resources or talents they have to make a difference.
