She has been honored to be presented with the Department of the Army Commander’s Public Service Award, the United States European Command Award Certificate of Achievement, the European PTA Volunteer of the Year and most recently she has been named the 2022 Nonprofit Executive Leader by the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce during their Community Leadership Awards. Under her leadership, Loudoun Cares was honored to be named 2021 Nonprofit of the Year and 2021 Small Business of the Year by the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce. Only one of two nonprofits that have ever received this honor. Valerie is thrilled to have landed in Northern Virginia and believes serving her community is the biggest honor of all.
