The Loudoun County Cold Weather Shelter provides a warm place to spend the night for homeless men and women during the winter months. (Homeless families are housed elsewhere.)

The Cold Weather Shelter has CLOSED for the season.

Watch this page for information on the 2008-09 shelter and ways you can help, or contact Beth Rosenberg at 703-771-5881 or Adrienne Miller at 703-669-4636.

Thank you for helping us to keep our neighbors warm this winter.

Located in a rural area of the county, the Loudoun County Cold Weather Shelter is an emergency overnight shelter with the mission of eliminating hypothermia-related health problems in Loudoun’s homeless population. Consumers will be bussed to the facility from pre-arranged pick-up points. Hours of operation will be 9 PM to 7 AM daily. In addition to a warm, clean bed to sleep in, consumers will be served a hot meal upon arrival, courtesy of local restaurants and volunteer groups. We anticipate providing over 800 bed nights of warm shelter this season.

If you have any questions, please contact Adrienne Miller by e-mail (loudouncares@earthlink.net) or by phone at 703-669-4636
