Loudoun Cares is
a 501(c)3 organization formed in 2002 to plan for and develop the nonprofit infrastructure in Loudoun County. The Loudoun
Cares mission is to create and sustain a nonprofit human service center that includes comprehensive information and referral
services benefiting Loudoun residents.
Loudoun Cares operates the only comprehensive
Information & Referral Help Line in the county. The Help Line provides FREE information on health and human services,
community resources, and much more! The Help Line is available 9:00A.M.-5:00P.M., Monday – Friday and is also available
in Spanish.
Loudoun Cares has also launched a Multi-Tenant
Nonprofit Center campaign in an effort to strengthen the county’s nonprofit community.
A Multi-Tenant Nonprofit Center is a place where multiple nonprofit agencies
are housed in an effort to streamline access to services, reduce overhead costs for each agency by sharing resources and provide
stable and affordable office space.
In addition to these two core programs, Loudoun Cares participates in community philanthropic efforts like the Fuel Fund that provides heating
assistance to needy families and the Leadership Loudoun Nonprofit Management Seminars that provide affordable trainings
for local human service agencies.
