2018 Outstanding Volunteer Awards

Nominations are Now Open!

Loudoun Cares is now accepting nominations for the Outstanding Volunteer Awards through 5 p.m. February 28, 2018

As nonprofit resources become stretched more than ever before, having dynamic, committed and talented volunteers really make a difference.  Loudoun Cares seeks to celebrate and recognize volunteers who make a difference, impact those they serve and create processes that improve the organizations they work with.

Loudoun Cares is proud to host this exciting event and encourages residents and organizations to nominate outstanding individuals and/or groups that have provided distinguished community service during 2017.

“We are very fortunate in Loudoun County to have amazing volunteers that do so much for our community. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate them and their hard work and dedication,” stated Valerie Pisierra, Loudoun Cares Executive Director. 

Each nomination will be reviewed by a select panel of judges in the following 14 categories:

  • Adult, Senior, & Youth Public Safety Volunteer
  • Adult, Senior, & Youth Volunteer
  • Adult, Senior & Youth Volunteer Team
  • Community or Civic Organization
  • Corporate Team
  • Team (no age restriction)
  • Project (onetime event or project)
  • Project Leader

Award nominators and winners will be honored at the annual awards ceremony on Friday, April 27, 2018, at West Belmont Place at the National Conference Center in Leesburg from 5:30 pm-8:00 pm.

Please save the date to celebrate and honor those that give so much of themselves for our community.

Tickets will be available to purchase ($20/pp) March 15th to April 20th.
